Description

A couple of smilodons (Smilodon fatalis) during the courtship process in mating season.Usually, such encounters among big cats turns to be somehow harsh.But don't worry....:-)
The two cats are created separately by PS CS6 and then mixed with the background which is a collage of several scenes.

What many don't realize is this. Though this drawing is depicting Smilodon fatalis to have stripes, it enforces the name "saber-tooth tiger".


Wrong. There is no such thing as a saber-tooth tiger, as there were many big cats of the saber-tooth family. Thus, the correct name should be "saber-tooth cats".


By the way, I think Smilodon fatalis was the largest of the saber-tooth cats.
