Machairodus Giganteus by Leogon Machairodus Giganteus by Leogon
Ok,Here is my latest Machairodontine cat! The magestic Machairodus giganteus, with 1.30 m at the shoulder and about 2.5 m body length, is undoubtedly one of the biggest cats of all times. The elongated face and muzzle (A trait common in Machaidus and Homotherium genus) gives the cat an odd look.
I made this one in Artrage and PS cs6 by a Wacom bamboo pen&touch.
Hope you all like it and I need your critiques as always.:-)

Was this a real cat or is it fictional?  I must know!  :la:  (It's quite beautiful, by the way.)

It was a real machairodontine cat.It existed during Miocene in many parts of the world.M.giganteus was the biggest species of the genus.

Nice looking cat. I enjoy seeing what Chatters' ancestors may have looked like.

That would be wonderful. There is nothing in this world like big cats. Unfortunately, with all the habitat destruction, I don't know how they would survive.
